 Savannah High School Class of 1962 - Latest News 09-06-2017 - Magnus to receive Redskins Award for upcoming 500th game attendance. Larry Michael, the Washington Redskins radio play-by-play announcer, who also hosts an evening Redskins show on Comcast, visited Mr Monson with a Comcast technician to video-record an interview  in advance of Magnus' 500th Redskins game, to be played October 15th against San Francisco. The recording lasted about 45 minutes, and was done in his basement sports den. The show will not air until sometime in October. They have considerable work to do in editing the tape and inserting some still photos taken yesterday. Magnus' wife Carol said the interview went quite well, and Larry commented afterwards that it was one of the most interesting interviews they have done. On October 15th, Magnus will have field passes, be written up in the Redskins magazine, get on-field recognition, and visit the radio booth to meet Michael's broadcast team of Sonny Juergenson and Chris Cooley.
