The event at Johnny Harris's was the best choice for a 50th reunion! The restaurant itself evokes so many memories. Everyone was so excited to see old friends and meet classmates we had never known.
Thank you, Rick, for your coordination and your entire team for a memorable, fun, and exciting reunion. Diane and Diane handled the check-in table smoothly, graciously, and quickly. Thank you both and others who helped you! The dinner was delicious with plenty of a variety of dishes. The staff were so gracious and accommodating to my special requests. We had time to talk to many people. That time was crucial to a great start for our reunion. And the coordinators gently coaxed us into leaving so we would make the 'Jukebox Journey' event.
I was so excited to come to our reunion! My journey from San Diego was well worth my time. I had only been to our 19th reunion in 1981. Unfortunately, I only spent my senior year at SHS. So, I wanted to meet as many classmates as I could whom I had never known.
My recommendation is to allow slightly more time to greet and meet people. This time was special because it was our 50th, so perhaps even 30 more minutes would not have been enough time in a full restaurant.
