I practically danced in my seat! Since I would almost rather dance than eat, I had a fantastic time listening to old favorites. And I enjoyed the enthusiastic singers and dancers, including the ones on the stage! My brother, Monroe, and I sat next to friends, so that made it even better! Three of us were singing and dancing.
The MC was smooth and complete in his conversation with us. I was delighted to hear and see the two Girl Scout troops. The honoring of veterans was especially moving since I am a veteran of 32 years in the Navy, including service off the coast of Vietnam.
My recommendation is to go back to the Savannah Theater with the same event! Or if not possible, schedule something quite similar. I also ask that the singers and dancers allow us to thank them personally after the show. To my knowledge, only one cast member was in the lobby. Maybe we can greet them in front of the stage next time.
