I'd rather answer this way. First.... Great Reunion!!!!!!!!!!!
Friday: Supper at Johnny Harris good idea, easy to find and enough room ,though it was pretty crowded. How many attended that night? It was a really good start, gave us extra time to meet and greet.
Friday: 'Jukebox Journey'     WOW!!!!! Loved this idea! Had a great time! Amazing talent, made me want to make the trip to Savannah more often ( I live in Jacksonville, FL).
Saturday: Tour of school. Enjoyed this. Wish we'd had more time and a lot fewer 'other people'. I realize this couldn't be helped. It certainly brought back a lot of memories!
Saturday: Tubby's.  I liked the place and the staff. It was really crowded, and food ran out at intervals. However I guess everyone got fed!
Saturday: Wilmington Island Club. I've always liked this venue. The food was good and seemed plentiful. Staff was very pleasant and helpful....with the possible exception of not keeping enough toilet paper in the women's bathroom!!  The film was sobering and brought tears to my eyes when I saw friends from the past, But I think it's important to do this each reunion. It makes us sad a little, but it also reminds us how fortunate we are to have so many classmates and friends still with us. I also thought the Trivia idea was fun. ( I lead a Trivia Night once a month at a bookstore here in Jacksonville.) We were not able to stay for the dance as my husband had to work Sunday (they wouldn't give him the day off) and we had to drive back to Jax. That was a big disappoinment for me.
We really enjoyed the entire reunion!!! I think having several events was a GREAT idea!! After all, many attendees come from out of town, and it really makes it worthwhile to have different activities to attend. It also gives us more time to see more people...it's a big class!

Thank ALL of you for the BEST Reunion EVER!!!   I'm already looking forward to the next one!      All the best, Sharon Altman Padilla

I enjoyed every event connected with the reunion. I had a ball and enjoyed speaking to a lot of folks that I haven't spoken too since 1962 and before. I had a great time at the Wilmington Island Club, and I always like hearing Ronnie Lush and his band. All that being said I would like for us to have a DJ at the next reunion. One reason is we could focus on the music from 1957-1964. That is the music I most associate with school and Savannah. It would have been great to hear The Twist, or something by James Brown. Second reason is we could hear more songs. Third is the songs back then were about 3 minutes long which is plenty of time to dance. Personally, my knees were really talking to me Sunday morning. Lastly I would like to thank all those involved with putting the reunion together. Ya'll did a great job and just for that we are going to let ya'll organize the next one. Good luck, thank you and God Bless you all.

I totally endorse Tom Hux's idea about having a dj.  A good dj can keep things going well.  And, he/she can play a lot more different types of music than any band can.  Also, they don't have to take breaks.

Wow!  The organizers planned and executed a superior event.  Thank you to all of you! The dancing, food, memorials, and the trivia game were all excellent and fun.

Check-in to get our name tags went smoothly.  Having the posted pictures of our classmates was an excellent idea.  The room was large enough for our 250 classmates and guests.  I enjoyed the band's music.  They played many fast and slow songs.  I wanted to dance longer!  Our dinner was outstanding: warm, varied, and delicious.  The memorial with background music and slides moved me almost to tears.  I personally knew nine of them.

The club staff were exceptional.  Michelle, Teresa, and Kerny met my special requests for food or beverage.  All were uniformly energetic, helpful, and professional.  And they were willing to have conversations with us!  The photographers did a superb job taking pictures of virtually everyone!  And they were posted on our site quickly.

My first recommendation is to have the next dinner at our next reunion at this club again.  I also recommend having even more music and a band or DJ who can play even more requests.
