The tour of SHS was particular special for me because I had never been back after graduation. Thank you, Kenny, for leading this event and for those who helped you! I learned and remembered a lot. And thank you, Kenny, for sharing so much about numerous classmates while we were on the tour.
Two hours was just the right amount of time. Having the principal lead us and share so much about the Academy was quite important and memorable for me. Also, taking a group picture was clearly necessary!
I recommend scheduling this tour again for our next reunion. And I liked Kenny's plan of a short presentation in the auditorium to star off the tour. I would also like to have the principal give his history of the Academy in the auditorium.
After his talk, perhaps several school staff can lead small groups to certain places such as the gym, cafeteria, library, ROTC areas, or classrooms. Everyone was not able to hear the principal with so many people in tow. And I hope the school would be able to have more than one person to unlock rooms. Maybe the rooms can be unlocked for a short time ahead of time! It would be easier on the school staff and smoother for our classmates.
