Body:	<i>Thank you so much to the committee who did a remarkable and dedicated job in getting the wonderful event together. So much fun, but hardwork for the planners. I do keep up with some classmates whom I have seen over the years. Miss those who are no longer with us. I had been friends with Irvin Asher and Gae Edgerton since pre-school. In fact, I was teary as I left the moss, marshes and rivers of my childhood to drive back to the gently rolling landscape of middle GA. I do have a few suggestions: Thanks go out to Moses for providing the shirts. When I put the t-shirt on to wear to the gym, I realized that Savannah was not on the shirt. If one isn't in Savannah, SHS isn't a known entity. So sad. The turnout was so wonderful for Tubby's but a nominal charge for the event, $1.00 to $5.00 ,would have given the committee a headcount. Glad Sat. lunch was held at a restaurant that could keep up, even if somewhat delayed. It would have been nice to have invited the spouses of deceased classmates. I missed seeing some of them too. Nancy Asher Bracker(Irvin's sister) lives in Savannah. I am in contact with her, and in hindsight should have invited her. I know I am considered a member of the class of '53 of Georgia Military College Prep School, and invited to all their functions. It is a nice connection. That class has provided a scholarship to the top honor graduate of the high school and an honorarium to the honor faculty member for the last seven years. There is an endowment fund, to which we contribute, for this. Just an idea, but think it should go to The Savannah School for the Arts housed in the building on Washington Avenue.
